Quality
Quality of design and service delivery have always been a priority for Basis Engineering over the years. The development of Basis Engineering over almost 30 years, with increasing skills in offshore and onshore plants design, is an evidence of the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our Clients.

Quality System Accreditation
Since 1993, Basis Engineering has operated a Quality Management System and since 2002 this has been certified ISO 9001:2000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. Basis Engineering's QMS is certified ISO 9001:2000 for "Multidisciplinary design and design management of onshore and offshore engineering project within the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and energy fields".

Quality Management System
All design activities and engineering assistances to procurement , fabrication, and installation is governed by a Project Quality Plan complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and any other specific standards required by the Client. A QA Manual comprises a full set of statements, general instructions and procedures applicable to any work or service performed by Basis Engineering. This Manual is complemented by specific detailed procedures for design reviews, document control and design work flow.

Health and Safety
It is the policy of Basis Engineering to ensure that safety, health and environmental requirements are well planned and executed within the Basis Engineering organisation and form an integral part of the Basis Engineering total quality program.

Basis Engineering is totally committed to the concept of building safety into the plants design. Every project is carried out in accordance with Basis Engineering's Health and Safety Policy, if a Client’s own policy is not available, in order to ensure a safe design.

The top priority target of any project is to provide a design in which all hazards have been identified, assessed, quantified and then mitigated and eliminated as much as possible. To facilitate this approach, documented design review and analysis are in place and followed up across each project phase to give evidence of acceptable Health and Safety performance and delivery.

Safe design is duly supported by software tools including 3D Cad systems and models.

Environmental Policy
Basis Engineering is dedicated to making its operations compatible with the protection of the environment.
